What you will do

• Design and optimize advanced manufacturing processes, including material selection and equipment metrology.
• Conduct feasibility studies to support innovative device architectures and technology roadmaps.
• Implement equipment modifications to increase efficiency and optimize production output.
• Collaborate with suppliers to integrate new technology solutions and materials.
• Perform theoretical simulations and practical engineering to test process feasibility.
• Develop cost-effective roadmaps in alignment with industry trends and stakeholder needs.

Requirements

• PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 6+ months of experience in semiconductor relevant fields (e.g., Thin Films Deposition, Ion Implantation, Etch Processing).
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of technical experience in semiconductor processing and characterization.
• Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
