What you will do

• Drive development of semiconductor equipment technologies including laser annealing.
• Develop concepts, design, and test new components/sub-systems like gas sensing, precision motion, vacuum, and laser metrology.
• Determine system specifications, input/output requirements, and hardware/software compatibility.
• Contribute to hardware/software features, prototype integration, and system testing.
• Develop and execute experimental test plans for performance validation.
• Perform data/statistical analysis, problem-solving, and structured risk assessments like FMEA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Technical Engineering +5 years, Master’s +3 years, or PhD
• Experience designing and executing test plans
• Semiconductor or similar industry experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking to solve complex problems with limited data
• Ability to interface with Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Product Engineers
• Scripting for problem-solving; knowledge of laser, electromechanical, thermal, control, or optical metrology systems recommended
