Location: Must be based in the United States (currently not hiring in Hawaii)
Salary: $206,550 – $243,000

What you will do
- Lead a team of engineers in building and scaling payments infrastructure and internal tools used by hundreds of users.
- Ensure technical excellence across platforms using deep full-stack building experience.
- Drive accountability and delivery velocity across multiple critical initiatives.
- Shape the engineering culture and maintain a high performance bar.
- Hire and develop high-performing engineers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Design teams to align on goals.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States (excluding Hawaii).
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience managing engineers.
- Proven track record of delivering production software at scale in fast-paced environments.
- Strong technical grounding in web application architecture, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience hiring and developing engineering talent.
Nice to have
- 3+ years of experience in a hyper-growth company.
- Experience leading and using AI-Native software delivery workflows and tools.
- Experience building internal tools and high-availability, critical distributed systems.
- Background in healthcare, wellness, or regulated industries.
- Strong operational discipline involving metrics, retros, and postmortems.
