What you will do

• Partner with design, product, and engineering teams to define and scale a unified design system across web and mobile.
• Engineer high-performance, scalable UI components to reduce technical fragmentation and code duplication.
• Consolidate fragmented legacy UI patterns into a cohesive, scalable architecture.
• Establish clear architectural standards, component APIs, and theming.
• Mentor junior engineers on UI best practices and accessibility standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience leading technical architecture for web or mobile apps.
• Proven success building and scaling a unified design system adopted by multiple engineering teams.
• Deep technical proficiency in React, React Native, TypeScript, Storybook, and Figma.
• Experience with GraphQL and performance monitoring tools such as Datadog RUM.
• Must be based near hirify.global offices in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis for hybrid work.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
