TL;DR

Deposit and Payment Processing Specialist (ACH Hybrid): Processing and balancing critical transactions including ACH, wires, and checks with an accent on accuracy, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance. Focus on investigating and resolving exceptions, ensuring timely operations, and maintaining secure records for member accounts.

Hybrid: requires 2-3 days a week onsite in Tukwila, WA.

Target pay range: $26.35-$32.12 hourly (full range $21.65-$38.03 hourly).

What you will do

• Process, reconcile, and balance payment files, ACH, wires, and check clearing to post accurately to accounts and ledger.
• Monitor and maintain domestic/international wires and ACH per NACHA and Federal Reserve guidelines.
• Investigate discrepancies, resolve exceptions, and ensure time-sensitive operations meet deadlines.
• Operate imaging technology for checks and remittances, collaborate with financial institutions.
• Handle member inquiries, maintain records, ensure compliance, and prepare adjustment documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience in financial operations (data entry, processing, reconciliation, fraud ID)
• Verbal and written English communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills, PC/10-key proficiency, ability to learn new software
• High accuracy in multiple responsibilities, full-time availability with overtime as needed

Nice to have

• 1+ year processing ACH and wires
• Education/courses on ACH/check processes and regulations
