What you will do

• Design and evolve the agent runtime handling reasoning, tool use, memory retrieval, and response generation.
• Build multi-modal agent capabilities including image generation, voice synthesis, video creation, and code execution.
• Optimize LLM integration across providers (Claude, GPT, Gemini) to reduce latency and cost.
• Implement long-term and episodic memory systems using embedding models and semantic search.
• Design autonomous, goal-directed behaviors and proactive actions for agents.
• Create evaluation benchmarks and A/B testing metrics for agent behavior and personality consistency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience working with LLMs or AI agent systems.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python.
• Experience building agent systems using tool use, function calling, and RAG.
• Strong prompt engineering skills (system prompts, few-shot learning, chain-of-thought).
• Understanding of embedding models and vector search for retrieval.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-modal AI (TTS, speech-to-text, video generation).
• Familiarity with agent frameworks like LangChain, AutoGPT, or CrewAI.
• Background in NLP, computational linguistics, or cognitive science.
• Experience with fine-tuning, RLHF, or DPO.
• Previous startup experience.
