Salary: CAD 211,450 - CAD 253,740

What you will do

• Manage a distributed team of engineers, removing blockers and facilitating cross-team collaboration.
• Drive the delivery of the Grafana core platform, focusing on the app platform to unlock multi-tenancy.
• Set milestones, communicate delivery timelines, and ensure high quality over speed.
• Collaborate with Product, Docs, and Customer Experience to align the roadmap with company mission and OKRs.
• Mentor and coach engineers through regular 1:1s and continuous feedback.
• Maintain technical currency to support and challenge the team's technical decisions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US or Canada
• Preferred working hours: EST
• Strong software engineering background with the ability to lead technical conversations.
• Proven experience in people management, coaching, and mentoring.
• Experience with Go is highly desirable for managing the backend stack.
• Experience working with open-source software (OSS) and communities.
