TL;DR

Planner (Manufacturing): Coordinating manufacturing orders, material planning, and capacity planning to ensure optimal production and timely customer delivery with an accent on critical path analysis and KPI reporting. Focus on bridging the gap between project management and manufacturing, managing shop orders, and implementing lean manufacturing practices.

What you will do

  • Liaise between Project Management and Manufacturing to optimize production scheduling and meet milestone dates.
  • Coordinate manufacturing orders, material planning, and capacity planning.
  • Present weekly KPIs including manufacturing metrics, labor/machine load, and material availability.
  • Maintain shop orders by monitoring dates, quantities, and routing changes.
  • Execute production documentation release and audit sub-assembly WIP and inventory.
  • Manage component repair orders and apply engineering configuration changes to planned assemblies.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in Project and/or Material Management Planning/Scheduling.
  • Experience in a high-technology manufacturing environment.
  • Post-secondary education (Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience).
  • Fundamental knowledge of MRP, supply chain activities, and complex Bills of Material structures.
  • Must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications.

Nice to have

  • Designation in Business, Operations, SCMP, or Materials Management.
  • Interest or experience in Six Sigma methodology to achieve best practices.
