Product Manager (Fintech)

TL;DR

Product Manager (Fintech/AI): Defining and executing the product strategy for cloud-based assurance workflow capabilities with an accent on financial audit methodology and platform scalability. Focus on integrating AI-driven capabilities into the audit process and translating complex auditor needs into actionable technical requirements.

Location: Hybrid; must be based in Toronto, ON (3 days a week in office)

Salary: CAD$115,000 – CAD$130,000

What you will do

• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on assurance workflows and financial audit methodology for product, engineering, and sales teams.
• Collaborate with global partners and customers to translate audit challenges and evolving expectations into platform decisions.
• Own the product roadmap, defining and prioritizing requirements based on customer feedback and market trends.
• Define and prioritize AI-driven product capabilities to shape the future of AI-assisted audit.
• Coordinate cross-functional release readiness and communicate product trade-offs to a diverse set of global stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of product management experience.
• Meaningful hands-on experience in financial audit or assurance.
• Strong ability to translate domain expertise and customer feedback into clear product requirements.
• Familiarity with audit standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISA, GAAS, PCAOB).
• Must be based in Toronto, ON to support the hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global's audit or engagement management software.
• Exposure to platform thinking (building capabilities for downstream partners or product teams).
• Experience working in a global or multi-market product environment.
