Group Reporting Senior Accountant

TL;DR

Group Reporting Senior Accountant: Support production of the Group’s consolidation and reporting of financial position for monthly management accounts and annual financial statements with an accent on eliminations, adjustments, disclosures, and accounting policies. Focus on IFRS/FRS102 compliance, lease accounting under IFRS 16, and collaboration with global finance functions.

What you will do

• Support monthly and annual consolidation processes including Group eliminations and level adjustments.
• Develop expertise in the Group’s consolidation system (SAP BPC).
• Build relationships with Group Tax, Treasury, FPA, Statutory & Compliance teams, and shared service centres.
• Manage disclosures and accounting policies for Property, Plant & Equipment, and Intangible assets.
• Handle lease accounting adjustments under IFRS 16 and maintain LeaseLight system data.
• Support production of Group financial statements under IFRS/FRS102 and liaise with auditors.
• Undertake ad hoc projects as requested.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent) with up-to-date knowledge of UK Adopted IFRS and FRS102.
• Experience with ERP and analytics systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel user.
• Good interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships.
• Culturally sensitive in implementing initiatives across global teams.

Nice to have

• Experience of monthly financial close process.
• Experience with SAP ByD, SAP BPC, and/or Deloitte LeaseLight.
