TL;DR
Analog And Mixed Signal ASIC Design Intern (ASIC Design): Participating in the design of high-speed or high-power ICs for Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) with an accent on circuit optimization and characterization via simulation. Focus on physical implementation (layout), IC evaluation in the lab, and developing analog block specifications.
Location: On-site in Agoura Hills, CA, US. Must be local; relocation is not provided. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Compensation: $25.50–$47.00 per hour

What you will do
- Assist in the design of high-speed (> 1 Gbps) or high-power, high-voltage ICs for ATE instruments.
- Develop specifications for analog blocks and optimize circuits via simulation using Cadence EDA tools.
- Perform physical implementation (layout) of circuits.
- Participate in design reviews and conduct IC evaluation in the laboratory.
- Characterize circuits over all process and operating conditions.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BSEE/MSEE degree with emphasis on mixed-signal and analog IC design.
- Strong knowledge of analog and/or mixed-signal integrated circuit design.
- Proficiency with Cadence EDA tools, Spectre, and Hspice.
- Programming and scripting skills in C++, VBA, and Python.
- Experience working with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and DMM.
- Must be available for a minimum of 3 months during Summer 2026.

- Previous industry or academic experience with several design tapeouts.
