What you will do

• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with queries, concerns, billing issues, and account questions.
• Make outbound collection calls and collect outstanding patient balances.
• Assist insurance providers and other third-party entities with patient account inquiries.
• Coordinate information between patients, family members, medical personnel, administrators, and consumers.
• Safeguard protected health information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Support department and company goals while maintaining reliable attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

• College graduate preferred, or at least two years of college.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information, perform simple mathematical calculations, and use email proficiently.
• Organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility with schedule and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• At least one year of call center experience with medical accounts and programs is preferred.
