TL;DR

Client Support Engineer: Provide deskside technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues to client end-users with an accent on first-level problem resolution, user training, and ticket documentation. Focus on diagnosing PC, printer, network, and VPN problems, escalating Tier 2 issues, and coordinating vendor repairs.

Location: Seattle, WA (onsite 5x/week). All work to be performed in client office.

What you will do

  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve first-level end-user problems for workstations, laptops, software, hardware, network, VPN, Internet, and server services.
  • Provide one-on-one end-user problem resolution and training for PC software and connectivity issues.
  • Document all client issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Set up and configure end-user PC hardware, software, and peripherals onsite and remotely.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve printer problems, PC hardware issues, and basic network/email/VPN access problems.
  • Coordinate repairs with third-party vendors and perform minor hardware repairs as needed.
  • Act as remote hands for engineering staff and assist with knowledgebase materials.

Requirements

  • 3+ years providing end-user support for PC desktop and application software
  • 3+ years installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and repairing PCs in corporate networked environments
  • 3+ years supporting Microsoft applications and management software
  • 2+ years supporting enterprise userbase in legal or financial services industries
  • CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent experience
  • CompTIA Net+ Certification or equivalent experience
