What you will do

• Design and develop complex software systems for real-time audio/video stream ingestion and processing.
• Build scalable, low-latency media pipelines to support the hirify.global platform's capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, architecture decisions, and mentoring junior engineers.
• Architect distributed systems focused on high-throughput, fault tolerance, and maintainability.
• Implement best practices for quality assurance, including automated, integration, and unit testing.
• Ensure software security and compliance with cloud environment standards.

Requirements

• Experience with real-time communication systems (VoIP, SIP, RTP, or WebRTC).
• Proficiency in audio/video processing pipelines, codecs, or streaming technologies.
• Strong experience building microservices and REST/gRPC APIs.
• Familiarity with observability tooling and debugging distributed systems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD).
• Must be based in the US
