What you will do

• Confirm coverage by reviewing policies and supporting documents.
• Conduct and coordinate investigations into loss facts and damages.
• Direct assignments to experts and outside counsel.
• Evaluate coverage, compensability, and exposure to set reserves or recommend changes.
• Drive claims resolution, focusing on returning injured workers to work, and negotiate settlements.
• Prepare reports, adhere to fair claims practices, and attend state trainings, mediations, trials, or conferences as required.

Requirements

• Degree in business-related field optional in exchange for insurance experience.
• Insurance designation is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to deliver outstanding customer service and work in a team.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
• Strong desire for continuous improvement.
