TL;DR

Sr. Manager/Associate Director, Market Access (Oncology Diagnostics): Lead strategic payer engagement to expand coverage and improve patient access to personalized cancer testing with an accent on reimbursement policy and commercial health plans. Focus on building relationships with payers, influencing medical policy decisions, and mitigating access barriers.

Location: Remote

Salary: $160,000–$220,000 per year

What you will do

  • Build and sustain relationships with national and regional commercial health plan decision-makers to influence coverage and policy.
  • Educate payers on clinical and economic value of hirify.global technologies.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Legal/Compliance, and Finance on access strategies.
  • Represent hirify.global with payers, providers, professional societies, and stakeholders.
  • Identify and address barriers to patient access through targeted initiatives.
  • Monitor commercial coverage trends, guidelines, and payer behavior to inform strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PhD) strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years in market access, payer relations, or reimbursement in diagnostics, biotech, or healthcare.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. commercial payer landscape, reimbursement, and medical policy.
  • Proven success engaging payers and influencing coverage decisions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and cross-functional leadership skills.
