Systems Engineer III – Collaboration Engineering (Microsoft 365)

What you will do

• Own the architectural strategy and roadmap for collaboration and productivity platforms.
• Design and deliver Microsoft 365, collaboration, and Generative AI solutions from concept through operational handover.
• Act as the senior engineering authority for collaboration technologies across hirify.global and vendor partnerships.
• Influence product and vendor roadmaps, commercial decisions, and business cases.
• Build security, resilience, scalability, operability, automation, and service improvement into platform design.
• Coach and mentor engineers while driving consistent engineering standards.

Requirements

• Significant experience delivering complex collaboration or workplace platforms in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Deep hands-on and architectural experience with Microsoft 365, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, and Copilot technologies.
• Strong understanding of identity, security, compliance, data protection, and backup and recovery in Microsoft cloud ecosystems.
• Experience managing technology lifecycles, vendor relationships, and commercial trade-offs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-influencing skills, with the ability to work with architects, product managers, and suppliers.

Nice to have

• Advanced PowerShell and automation skills.
• Experience with large-scale data migration and hybrid environments.
• Exposure to Azure infrastructure and virtualisation platforms.
