Senior Fullstack Engineer (TypeScript/Java)

Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany (up to 2 days remote per week; 1 day during the first 6 months).

What you will do

• Own end-to-end feature development from ideation and technical proposal to production deployment and maintenance.
• Develop backend services and frontend applications using TypeScript, Java, and gRPC.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to deliver high-value, high-reliability features.
• Drive architectural and process decisions to elevate engineering practices across the organization.
• Mentor and support other engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
• Enable the organization through tooling, documentation, and shared libraries.

Requirements

• Proven track record of delivering complex, high-impact E2E initiatives.
• Strong understanding of observability, including structured logging and distributed tracing.
• Ability to clearly articulate technical trade-offs and influence direction with stakeholders.
• Self-driven and outcome-oriented approach to leading initiatives from ambiguity to delivery.
• Must be based in or able to work from Berlin (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Braze, Adjust, or Usercentrics platforms.
• Experience managing consent flows and privacy-respecting data pipelines in compliance with GDPR.
• Practical experience integrating marketing tooling into event-driven architectures.
