What you will do

• Build a modern Next.js application from scratch, establishing the technical foundation for a scalable internal platform.
• Drive technical decisions and take ownership of frontend architecture and reusable patterns.
• Integrate and evolve RESTful APIs in close collaboration with backend engineers.
• Ensure high-quality UI/UX implementation with a strong focus on performance and scalability.
• Write and maintain tests to ensure reliability, security, and application stability.
• Collaborate with DevOps on deployment and monitoring to optimize user experience and conversion.

Requirements

• Senior experience as a Full Stack or Frontend Engineer with a focus on modern web technologies.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript, React, and Next.js (App Router, Server Components, Server Functions).
• Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS is required.
• Proven ability to design scalable architectures and write clean, maintainable, and performant code.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid setup in Hamburg.

Nice to have

• Experience with React Hook Form, TanStack Query, Zod, or Shadcn/UI.
• Practical experience with frontend testing strategies.
• Interest in utilizing AI-assisted workflows to improve development productivity.
