Senior Product Engineer (AI): Building and optimizing an open-source LLM engineering platform focusing on tracing, evaluation, and prompt management. Location: Hybrid with one week per month in the Berlin office. Open to candidates in EU timezones or based in Berlin, London, Munich, Paris, or Zurich.

Compensation Range: €90,000–€160,000

What you will do

• Own features end-to-end, from understanding user problems to shipping the solution and documentation.
• Work across the full stack, including React frontend, Next.js backend, ClickHouse analytics, and SDKs.
• Talk to users constantly to build conviction about what to build next and route support requests.
• Write public documentation for the features you own, treating docs as a core product component.
• Ship publicly and present features to the community during Launch Weeks.

Requirements

• Experience building and shipping user-facing products end-to-end.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/React with exposure to data-intensive backends.
• Ability to manage projects independently, developing strong conviction about what to build and how to ship it.
• Strong taste for great developer experience, including API design, UI details, and clear documentation.
• Genuine interest in open source software and enthusiasm for discussing problems with developers.
• Thrive in a small, accountable team where your output is visible and matters.

Nice to have

• Experience with ClickHouse, analytics databases, or building complex data visualizations.
• Former founder or early startup experience.
• Contributions to popular open source projects.
• ML/AI background or familiarity with the LLM framework ecosystem.
