What you will do

• Translate ambiguous, complex business problems into scientific hypotheses and success metrics.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive ML models for forecasting, cost-to-serve, risk detection, and inventory optimization.
• Build GenAI and LLM applications for intelligent seller insights, document understanding, and automated reasoning.
• Design and analyze A/B tests and quasi-experiments to quantify the impact of new policies and product features.
• Collaborate with engineers and data teams to design scalable data models and feature pipelines.
• Mentor other scientists and analysts on methodology, code practices, and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.).
• 7+ years of industry experience in data science, machine learning, or applied statistics.
• Strong programming skills in Python (or R) and proficiency in SQL for large-scale datasets.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker, Bedrock, etc.) or similar cloud technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for influencing senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Machine Learning.
• 10+ years of industry experience.
• Domain experience in e-commerce, supply chain, or logistics platforms.
• Hands-on experience building and integrating GenAI/LLM applications (RAG, agents).
• Experience operating ML models in production, including CI/CD and monitoring strategies.
