What you will do

• Set up and scale HR operations in Romania to ensure processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with global standards.
• Manage day-to-day HR administrative operations and the full employee lifecycle for the region.
• Oversee end-to-end onboarding and offboarding activities, including employee consultations and exit management.
• Maintain accurate employee data and digital personnel files within the HRIS.
• Coordinate country-specific benefits, absences, sickness cases, and visa/immigration processes.
• Review and update HR policies to ensure compliance with local labor laws and global HR strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Administration, HR, or Business.
• At least 5 years of experience in HR operations within an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of labor regulations and payroll processes specifically in Romania.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience working with HRIS systems.
• Proven experience scaling HR processes in organizations with more than 100 employees.
