Manager of Information Technology: Elevate existing helpdesk and sysadmin organization to proactive, process-driven internal service with an accent on people leadership, project ownership, process design, and security-minded systems thinking. Location: Remote, based anywhere in the US. Remote-first company with mandatory all-company meetings several times a year and up to 15 days of travel per year.
Salary: $120,000–$160,000

What you will do
- Lead and coach IT team in helpdesk, sysadmin, and operational workflows.
- Own IT project roadmap, prioritization, and cross-functional initiatives like migrations and system rollouts.
- Design and implement automated, audit-ready onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Establish KPIs, process improvements, disaster recovery, and authentication standards.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure data-driven decisions on spend and risk.
- Build relationships across compliance, engineering, and company-wide teams.
Requirements
- Must be based anywhere in the US with up to 15 days travel per year.
- Proven experience building IT systems, driving alignment, and creating impact at scale.
- Strong people leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Expertise in process design, operational rigor, automation, and security.
- Hands-on familiarity with IT tools, helpdesk SLAs, and vendor management.
- Ability to audit processes, identify gaps, and develop improvement roadmaps.
