What you will do

• Execute proof of principle, development, and validation projects for liquid biopsy products in the company portfolio.
• Collaborate with R&D to scope and troubleshoot projects with internal and external partners.
• Coordinate with process development and operations teams to transition early-stage products to production.
• Partner with bioinformatics teams to design experiments and analyze genomic data.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in current laboratory processes through creative troubleshooting.
• Present research results and maintain a collaborative working environment.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or MS with 8-12 years of experience.
• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience in NGS and/or liquid biopsy focused molecular biology.
• Strong proficiency in DNA/RNA manipulation.
• Experience with data analysis using R, Python, Excel, or JMP.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Fremont, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with laboratory automation (Hamilton or other liquid handlers).
• ISO13485 validation experience.
• Prior experience in cancer biology.
• Experience working within a LIMS directed environment.
