Electrical Engineer (Defense)

What you will do

• Develop system-level electrical schematics for aircraft and ground-based systems.
• Design and document cable fabrication drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Interpret and generate aircraft electrical schematics and power distribution architectures.
• Develop PCB designs from schematic capture through fabrication packages, including Gerbers and BOMs.
• Conduct electrical integration and testing of system prototypes and production systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure complete system integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Computer Engineering (CE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 1 year of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) development experience.
• Proficiency in analog and digital design, including signal and power requirements.
• Knowledge of DC-DC converters, op-amp circuits, filters, and signal integrity.
• Experience creating and managing schematic and PCB libraries and BOMs.
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance (Active clearance preferred).
