TL;DR

Intern | ALS - Optoelectronics: Assemble, align, and test opto-mechanical components, fiber-optic sensors, and laser systems with an accent on electronics, optical, and mechanical assemblies. Focus on documenting processes, collecting and interpreting experimental data, and contributing to research reports.

Pay Range: $22–$27/hr depending on experience

What you will do

• Assemble, align, and test opto-mechanical components, fiber-optic sensors, laser systems, and test boxes.
• Document process steps and test findings.
• Collect, process, and interpret data from experiments to optimize performance.
• Contribute to research reports.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Optical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering or related fields.
• Mechanical/electrical skills.
• Ability to solder wires and connectors.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic designs.
• US work authorization required (ITAR compliance, no visa sponsorship).
