Salary: $190,000 - $220,000

What you will do

• Lead AI-first cross-portfolio initiatives and design end-to-end platform experiences across products and teams.
• Define and evolve AI-forward design strategy and responsible governance for human decision-making in high-stakes environments.
• Establish and operationalize design systems, standards, and reusable patterns across the hirify.global ecosystem.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data leadership to influence roadmaps and prioritization through systems thinking.
• Design complex data- and map-based experiences, ensuring geospatial and real-time information is actionable under pressure.
• Mentor designers and raise the overall bar for design quality, rigor, and impact within the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product design experience working on complex B2B platforms or systems.
• Proven experience designing AI/ML-enabled products, including human-in-the-loop workflows and data-rich interfaces.
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and various user research and testing platforms.
• Deep systems thinking skills with experience defining scalable patterns and frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead ambiguous problem spaces and articulate complex design tradeoffs to stakeholders.
• Must be based in Boston or New York.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-stakes domains like public safety, healthcare, or critical infrastructure.
• Experience designing interfaces for voice-centric operational roles or call takers.
• Degree in HCI, Human Factors, or User Experience.
• Experience with GIS, cartography, or geospatial visualizations.
