What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and hands-on support for DeltaV and Syncade MES across development, validation, and production.
• Design, implement, and maintain software solutions and interfaces with PI Historian, Oracle, CMMS, Veeva, LIMS, and other platforms.
• Author, review, and approve automation and MES documentation including design specs, test protocols, and lifecycle documents.
• Execute and own change controls for validated systems in compliance with quality requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues to support operations, including on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering on validation strategies and project delivery.
• Lead or support automation projects and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from accredited college or university
• Minimum 4 years experience in automation engineering
• Proven experience with DeltaV and/or Syncade recipe authoring
• Strong experience with validated systems, documentation, and change control
• Ability to troubleshoot complex automation software and hardware issues

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s in Automation, Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
• 4+ years in biotech/pharma manufacturing automation
• Experience with both DeltaV and Syncade MES
• Familiarity with batch reporting, MES design, review-by-exception
• Technology transfer, capital projects, or site improvements experience
• Mentoring or training junior engineers
