TL;DR
Team Member Experience Coordinator (HR/People Ops): Driving community, connection, and internal culture at with an accent on operational coordination and external brand presence. Focus on building inclusive internal communities, managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, and overseeing Baltimore office operations.
Location: Must be based in Baltimore, Maryland or reside in one of the 16 licensed US states
Salary: $25.19 – $37.94 per hour

What you will do
- Own and grow internal and external speaker series and tech meetups to elevate the brand.
- Manage the end-to-end new hire experience, including pre-boarding, orientation, and 30/60/90-day check-ins.
- Coordinate the Baltimore office operations, including supplies, vendors, and general workspace vibe.
- Design and execute a year-round calendar of in-person, virtual, and hybrid connection experiences.
- Foster inclusivity for remote team members and manage recognition rhythms for milestones and life events.
- Represent the company at conferences and industry events to identify partnership opportunities.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in team member experience, people operations, office management, or event planning.
- Must reside in one of the following 16 US states: AL, CA, DE, DC, FL, GA, MD, NJ, NY, NC, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
- Proven track record of organizing meetups, tech communities, or professional networks from scratch.
- Strong communication skills across written, verbal, and public speaking channels.
Nice to have
- Experience in or deep curiosity about the GovTech, civic tech, or public sector technology space.
- Experience working at a mission-driven company or nonprofit.
- Bachelor's degree.
