Sr. SaaS Solutions Architect

Location: New York, New York headquarters; hybrid role

Base salary: $215,029–$252,659 USD annually, plus equity awards, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and region-specific benefits.

What you will do

• Lead technical evaluations of SaaS vendors, including architecture, security, API capabilities, scalability, and total cost of ownership.
• Run proof-of-concept implementations and make build-versus-buy recommendations for engineering and business leadership.
• Design and implement SaaS features, enterprise integrations, middleware, authentication, authorization, and data synchronization layers.
• Establish architecture standards, evaluation frameworks, coding practices, and strategies to reduce vendor lock-in.
• Lead architecture reviews, code reviews, mentoring, and technical discussions across engineering and business teams.
• Manage vendor relationships, technical requirements, SLAs, security reviews, escalations, and incident response.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience and expert proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or Node.
• Strong full-stack capabilities and production experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Deep knowledge of REST, GraphQL, webhooks, enterprise SaaS integrations, OAuth 2.0, SAML, and OIDC.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, SQL and NoSQL databases, and ETL/ELT patterns.
• Knowledge of multi-tenancy, data isolation, API gateways, rate limiting, encryption, secrets management, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and OWASP API Security.
• Experience with vendor due diligence, TCO and ROI modeling, procurement, FinOps, executive communication, mentoring, and influencing across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with iPaaS platforms such as Zapier, Workato, or MuleSoft.
• Experience in a hypergrowth startup or scaling environment and contributions to a SaaS product as an early engineer.
• Prior experience as a technical founder or architect, plus open-source contributions or technical speaking.
