What you will do
- Own and drive the go-to-market strategy for Okta's solutions within the Public Sector market.
- Develop clear, differentiated messaging and positioning for federal, state, and local government audiences.
- Create high-impact content, including whitepapers, blog posts, presentations, and website copy.
- Develop and deliver training and tools to enable sales teams to sell effectively to government entities.
- Serve as the primary expert on Public Sector market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product Management and Sales to ensure strategic alignment and success.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in enterprise software, SaaS, or cybersecurity.
- Deep understanding of Public Sector procurement and compliance requirements, including FedRAMP and DoD.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills for translating technical concepts into narratives.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Must be based in the US and able to work in a hybrid setup in Washington, DC.
