Salary: $150,000 – $180,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to executive leadership and key business units.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including publishing, licensing, employment, vendor, and partnership agreements.
• Oversee corporate governance, including board and committee support and corporate filings.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Develop internal policies and risk management strategies to minimize legal exposure.
• Partner with HR on employment-related legal matters and collaborate with external counsel on litigation.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and admission to the California Bar.
• Must be based in Beverly Hills, CA for a hybrid work arrangement.
• 3–5 years of corporate legal experience, preferably in-house.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
