TL;DR

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer (CRM): Building and configuring complex CRM campaign components and email/push communications with an accent on personalization, segmentation, and rigorous QA. Focus on implementing AMPscript, SQL queries, and automation workflows to ensure high-volume campaign stability.

Location: Remote (Preference for PST time zone; candidates in other locations must be able to work PST hours)

What you will do

  • Build and configure CRM campaign components using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and Data Cloud.
  • Take ownership of content builds, journey updates, automations, and data extension queries.
  • Implement personalization and segmentation using AMPscript, dynamic content, and SQL.
  • Perform rigorous QA and validation, including rendering tests and proofing across multiple locales and brands.
  • Monitor journeys and automations for failures, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing fixes.
  • Collaborate in an agile delivery model, providing estimates and participating in peer code reviews.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development or a similar enterprise CRM/ESP.
  • Practical experience with Journey Builder and Automation Studio configurations.
  • Working knowledge of AMPscript and solid SQL skills for segmentation and troubleshooting.
  • Deep understanding of the SFMC data model, including Data Extensions and Contact Builder.
  • Proven experience executing high-volume campaigns in a production environment.
  • Ability to communicate technical details clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Email Specialist, Developer).
  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud / CDP.
  • Familiarity with rendering tools like Litmus.
  • Experience supporting localization for multi-locale CRM campaigns.
  • Exposure to API-triggered sends and SFMC integrations.
