What you will do

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch, including supervision of employees, facilities, and budget.
• Ensure compliance with corporate health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and documentation.
• Lead the branch's emergency response team and conduct regular safety audits.
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to communicate goals and expectations to the team.
• Manage direct reports, specifically Material Handlers and Lab Technicians.
• Coordinate inspections from external agencies such as DOT, EPA, FDA, and DHS.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in operations.
• Knowledge of chemical distribution facility operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Must be able to work onsite in Geismar, Louisiana.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with SAP or other similar ERP systems.
• Laboratory knowledge or experience.
