What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of Application Security engineers, supporting their growth and performance.
• Drive security initiatives across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to reduce risks.
• Partner with engineering teams to identify vulnerabilities and improve secure design.
• Establish and refine security practices, including reviews and rigorous testing.
• Build and scale security solutions through automation and developer-focused tooling.
• Drive cross-functional efforts to enhance security without sacrificing developer velocity.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Information Security.
• 2+ years of experience managing engineers.
• Strong background in Application Security or Product Security.
• Solid understanding of common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10) and secure coding practices.
• Experience working with cloud, microservices, and CI/CD in modern environments.
• Must be based in San Mateo, CA; certain U.S. visa categories may not be supported for employment.
