What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend infrastructure and data processing pipelines for map data storage and serving.
• Ensure stability and scalability of the hirify.global Atlas system through robust testing and performance optimization.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to influence design and feature development.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Seattle, Washington, USA
• 4+ years experience in server-side and data processing systems development.
• Expertise in C++ with clean, testable, production-ready code.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native technologies (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with geospatial data, mapping systems, or high-throughput data pipelines.
