TL;DR

Sales Engineer (AI): Communicating product differentiation and technical functionality to prospects and customers to drive adoption of an AI platform for grocery with an accent on technical discovery and deal strategy. Focus on managing end-to-end technical validation (POCs), collaborating with product teams to relay field feedback, and building sales engineering resources.

Location: Remote (Must reside in one of the following US states: AL, AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, KY, MA, MI, MT, MO, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OR, PA, TX, WA, UT, VA, WI) or San Francisco, CA

Salary: $109,000 - 147,000 (Base)

What you will do

  • Communicate product differentiation, value, and technical functionality directly to prospects and customers.
  • Lead operational and technical discovery to map customer business needs to the hirify.global solution.
  • Collaborate with Sales Directors and Account Managers on deal strategy, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collect and deliver product feedback from the field to the Product and Engineering teams.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to support new messaging, positioning, and launch of enablement resources.
  • Serve as the primary technical expert on all aspects of the hirify.global platform.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Sales Engineer experience, preferably with Grocery or AI/ML products.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Experience managing end-to-end technical validation or POC processes for complex SaaS products.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and handle ambiguity.
  • Must reside in one of the approved US states to work remotely.
  • Not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% to work with customers onsite.

Nice to have

  • Experience with data architecture and ETL.
  • Experience managing strategic deals with companies of 10k+ employees or $500k+ ACV.
