Salary: $190,000 – $260,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Execute video strategy to enhance platform quality and introduce tools that maximize engagement and sales.
• Implement robust measurement and observability for video systems.
• Build video recording pipelines for Trust & Safety and general user experience.
• Develop interactive seller tools, such as overlays, to improve the livestream experience.
• Evaluate and onboard new video providers.
• Inform long-term video strategy, including the creation of framework success criteria.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with scaled WebRTC systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong ability to translate product requirements into scalable system designs.
• Experience with AWS and DevOps practices.
• Must live within commuting distance of San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, or Seattle hubs.
