Facilities Manager (Radar and Surveillance)

Location: East Syracuse and Syracuse, New York, United States; onsite. Must be a U.S. citizen, able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, and willing to travel up to 5%.

Salary: $132,000–$171,600 annually.

What you will do

• Manage facilities activities across office, manufacturing, headquarters, and test facilities, including site maintenance, EHS, regulatory compliance, operational uptime, and safety.
• Lead large facility project planning and development, coordinating architecture and engineering firms on design criteria, layouts, drawings, and specifications.
• Develop and monitor site-wide project plans, schedules, bids, operational budgets, capital budgets, and long-range forecasts.
• Coordinate space allocation, building layouts, communications services, security, future expansion, and value engineering activities.
• Lead and develop facilities technicians while coordinating priorities and service delivery with IT, Security, EHS, Corporate Communications, HR, Supply Chain, local management, and other facilities leaders.
• Manage facility service and materials suppliers, monitor applicable regulations and laws, and develop policies for continuity, maintenance, safety, and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in large-scale construction, facilities management, and operations.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret-level clearance.
• Expert knowledge of local, state, and federal requirements related to facilities design and maintenance management.
• Experience with new and existing facility construction and the ability to adapt quickly to required changes.
• Ability to forecast people, money, and asset requirements, contribute to site strategy, and lead strategic initiatives.
• Ability to measure team and process performance using appropriate metrics and work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and team-building experience in an international environment.
• Experience working in a matrix organization and willingness to travel up to 5% for facility and corporate activities.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen is required.

• Experience in radar and surveillance industries.

• Experience with ERP, facility, and asset management systems.
• MBA, PE, M.Sc., or equivalent documented education.
