TL;DR

Director, New Verticals Sales (Fintech): Leading the go-to-market strategy and commercial execution for the auto loan vertical with an accent on building enterprise partnerships with captive and non-captive lenders. Focus on closing complex multi-stakeholder deals and scaling a repeatable partner acquisition motion.

Location: Must be based in the US (Remote or Hybrid in New York or San Francisco). Relocation assistance may be available for candidates outside these areas.

Salary: $272,000 - $400,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Build and own the go-to-market strategy for the auto loan vertical, identifying high-value partner segments.
  • Lead end-to-end enterprise sales from prospecting and relationship-building to contract execution.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-level decision-makers at target finance organizations.
  • Manage and develop a team of senior individual contributors to drive accountability and targets.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape the auto loan offering based on market feedback.
  • Utilize AI-assisted sales tools to optimize pipeline efficiency and personalize outreach.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or strategic partnerships.
  • Deep knowledge of the auto finance ecosystem, including captive and non-captive lenders and credit unions.
  • Proven track record of closing high-ACV, first-of-kind enterprise deals in emerging markets.
  • Experience leading and scaling high-performing enterprise sales teams.
  • Strong financial and legal acumen regarding partnership economics and consumer lending regulations.
  • Fluency with AI-assisted sales tools as a core part of the daily workflow.
