Production Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Develop assigned products and facilitate product launches within the plant.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, and lead multi-disciplinary launch teams on all aspects of product, process, and program management.
• Manage and lead one or more cross-functional project teams, developing project plans and proposals within tight timelines.
• Execute the PDP process at the plant level according to Production Engineering RASIC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Experience in plastics and assembly design preferred.
• Prior experience in new product introductions in an automotive/automotive supplier environment.
• Prior project management experience; PMP certification a plus.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience.
• Must have US work authorization; no visa sponsorship.
