What you will do
- Operate dynamometers and fatigue test benches for driveline components and assemblies.
- Assemble and disassemble test components while troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform data analysis on raw test results to confirm test completion and accuracy.
- Assist with equipment calibration, verification, and maintenance requests.
- Collaborate with test engineers to ensure correct fixturing and data acquisition.
- Maintain quality system documentation and support safety assessments.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to commute to Maumee, OH
- High School Diploma or GED required; two-year degree in mechanical or electrical engineering technology preferred.
- 5 years of experience in the automotive field and test lab environments.
- Experience with electromechanical systems, electric motors, and sensor fundamentals.
- Knowledge of LOTO, high voltage safety, and electrical principles.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repetitively and stand for 90% of the shift.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and off-shifts as required.
Nice to have
- Experience with CAN, Ethernet, RS232, and GPIB protocols.
- Experience with REPS, MTS MPT, and Basic Test ware.
- 2 years of maintenance and calibration experience.
