Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Warren, Michigan. This role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence at the Warren Tech Center at least three days per week.

What you will do

• Lead the engineering development of accessory portfolios through the execution phase.
• Serve as the primary accessory contact for program teams and support key meeting forums.
• Maintain program scorecards and report status at SMT meetings.
• Drive project approvals through DCRs and DCTA reviews.
• Coordinate program, studio, and cross-SMT issue escalations.
• Support workshare and RASIC development for global programs.

Requirements

• BS Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering functions.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the US (GM does not provide immigration sponsorship).
• Strong understanding of GVDP processes.
• Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle daily.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree.
• 3 years of experience in Accessory Product Development.
• SMT experience.
• Previous design or release experience.
