What you will do

• Deliver standardized classroom and behind-the-wheel training for Autonomous Vehicle Operators across various sites.
• Conduct on-route ride-alongs, evaluations, and safety check-offs to certify new operators for revenue service.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and refresher training on safe operating procedures and customer service.
• Travel to new launch sites and existing operations for deployments typically lasting 2-3 weeks.
• Document trainee progress, certification results, and field observations for the Training Manager.
• Maintain consistent application of training materials and identify potential program improvements.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for at least 3 years.
• Ability to travel up to 95% of the year in deployments of 2-3 weeks.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills across multiple platforms.
• Proficiency with digital tools, including documents, spreadsheets, and mobile apps.
• Ability to follow methodical processes consistently.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in training, coaching, or mentoring (e.g., fleet, transit, military, hospitality).
• Experience as a professional driver, CDL holder, or driving instructor.
• Exposure to the autonomous vehicle, robotics, or connected-vehicle space.
• CPR certification.
• Familiarity with vehicle telematics, fleet management software, or basic diagnostics.
• Current passport for potential international deployments.
