What you will do

• Take ownership of in-progress automation tooling designs and drive them through completion.
• Apply engineering principles to finalize designs, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and alignment with requirements.
• Develop detailed mechanical designs from concept through execution, including component selection and system integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine designs and address constraints.
• Create detailed engineering drawings and print packages for released designs.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes, tools, and documentation.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical design fundamentals.
• Experience with automation tooling or custom machine design using SolidWorks.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Problem-solving mindset to troubleshoot design challenges and propose practical solutions.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration across engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Self-motivated ability to take ownership of work with minimal supervision.
