Maintenance & Reliability Manager (Food Manufacturing)

Salary: $120,000–$135,000 plus annual bonus

What you will do

• Plan and supervise daily maintenance activities, including reactive and preventive work.
• Lead and develop a team of 4 maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Develop and refine predictive maintenance programs and analyze equipment performance data.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode & effects analysis (FMEA) on equipment failures.
• Manage parts inventory, maintenance spend, and vendor/contractor relationships.
• Lead small capital projects focused on equipment upgrades, reliability improvements, and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in reliability or maintenance engineering within food manufacturing or distribution.
• Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning.
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Cranford, NJ.

• Supervisory or team lead experience.
