What you will do

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close: financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, flux analysis
• Build accounting infrastructure: chart of accounts, close cadence, internal controls, policies
• Lead annual audit and maintain year-round audit readiness
• Manage tax compliance, payroll accounting, entity filings
• Partner with Finance, Legal, People teams for aligned financial operations
• Automate processes, document workflows, hire and manage small accounting team while staying hands-on

Requirements

• 8+ years progressive accounting experience, including at high-growth SaaS company
• Strong US GAAP knowledge, SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606), equity compensation; CPA preferred
• Experience owning full-cycle close and managing external audits end-to-end
• Build processes, controls, policies from scratch
• Managing/mentoring accountants or readiness to do so
• Proficiency in ERP platforms; evaluating/implementing new ERP a plus
