What you will do

• Integrate and evaluate fabrication process modules and device design changes for superconducting quantum processors.
• Design and execute experiments to assess performance impacts and investigate results via rigorous analysis.
• Use electromagnetic and circuit-level simulations to interpret findings and identify physical mechanisms.
• Coordinate with production and cross-functional teams on engineering lots and prototyping runs.
• Drive integration R&D from initial concept through final hardware demonstration.

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in engineering, physics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with superconducting quantum devices (resonators, transmons, etc.).
• Experience with cryogenic systems and low-temperature measurement environments.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• Proven track record of patents or publications in top-tier peer-reviewed journals.

Nice to have

• Experience with flip-chip or 3D integrated superconducting devices.
• Knowledge of Josephson junction engineering and oxidation control.
• Familiarity with tantalum or refractory metal-based superconducting circuits.
• Experience with cat qubit or bosonic qubit architectures.
• Professional software development experience and Unix/Linux proficiency.
