hirify.global is building Scientific Superintelligence™ and AI Science Factory™ instruments to automate the entire scientific method, accelerating discovery in medicine, materials, and energy.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with scientific teams to ideate experimental strategies for soft materials, including colloids, polymers, and gels.
  • Lead conceptual development of characterization and performance workflows using SAXS, SANS, and rheology.
  • Design, prototype, and validate custom apparatus, experimental methods, and software tools.
  • Develop workflows connecting structure, dynamics, and performance across length and time scales.
  • Transfer successful prototypes into production-ready systems within the AI Science Factory platform.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with SAXS, SANS, rheology, or formulation performance assays.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar for data analysis and automation.
  • Experience designing and implementing custom experimental workflows or scientific software.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, exploratory R&D environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with lab automation or high-throughput experimentation.
  • Background in formulation science for consumer products, coatings, or energy materials.
  • Ability to link scattering and rheological data to ML-driven predictive models.
  • Familiarity with 3D printing, machining, or microfluidics.
  • Previous experience in industry or national laboratories.
