Base Salary: $234,000 - $271,000

What you will do

• Research and develop state-of-the-art AI and non-AI algorithms for coronary CT and fluoroscopy imaging applications.
• Implement efficient and robust image processing pipelines for low-latency environments.
• Translate clinical and product requirements into detailed algorithmic specifications.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs to support 510(k), De Novo, and PCCP submissions.
• Partner with engineering teams to deploy AI solutions into clinical practice.
• Mentor junior scientists and contribute to intellectual property via patents and scientific publications.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years experience, or an MS with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in applied AI/DL for medical imaging, classical image processing, and 2D/3D rigid/deformable image registration.
• Strong professional experience in C++ and Python.
• Experience developing and applying graph processing or Graph Neural Networks (GNN).
• Proven track record of successful product delivery within the medical imaging domain.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with ITK, OpenCV, VTK, CMake, or Slicer.
• Prior experience with cardiac motion modelling or tracking.
• Experience supporting FDA regulatory submissions for ML-based software.
• Deep domain knowledge in cardiovascular imaging and CT interpretation workflows.
